Biography
Since 2012 Brian was a prosecutor with the Montgomery County State’s Attorney’s Office as an Assistant State’s Attorney specializing in cases involving Special Victims and during this time he tried hundreds of cases to include over 75 jury trials. Brian was a part of the Special Victim’s Division and when not seeking justice for victims of sexual abuse and domestic violence, he supervised the attorneys on the Domestic Violence docket. Prior to becoming an Assistant State’s Attorney, Brian served as a fellow for the Montgomery County State’s Attorney’s Office.
Brian served as a Judge Advocate with the United States Army Reserve, holding the rank of Major and in his time with the Army Reserve, he worked as a Defense Counsel, Special Victims’ Counsel and Legal Assistance Attorney.
Brian also volunteered with the Montgomery County Domestic Violence Coordinating Counsel with their “coaching boys into men” program. He has spoken to multiple high school football teams about issues surrounding domestic violence and how to prevent violence towards intimate partners.
In 2011 Brian was awarded the Civil Trial Advocacy Award for being the top student in the civil trial advocacy program.
